SSM Health is hiring an Epic Application Analyst Associate (S)

Responsibilities

  • Provides routine maintenance of Epic applications and systems using existing internal processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves basic Epic application issues and provides end user support.
  • Escalates issues appropriately to application team members.
  • Assists the team in analyzing Epic vendor software updates and tests updates according to scripts.
  • Codes for Epic application including building application tables and reports.
  • Assists with updating testing scripts to incorporate ongoing system development and implementations.
  • Builds requirements for configuration and business process changes.
  • Follows tasks as assigned in project plans for routine projects to support meeting milestones and timeframes.
  • Performs standard system testing, both unit and integrated.
  • Organizes requirement specifications, using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision-making.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
  • No experience required
  • As part of the Associate Analyst role at SSM, candidates are required to obtain Epic certification within the first six (6) months of employment. Associates will be provided with up to three (3) attempts to successfully pass the Epic certification exam.
