SSM Health is looking for an Epic Application Analyst Associate (S) to begin a career in healthcare IT supporting the Epic applications used by our clinicians. In this role, you will maintain systems, troubleshoot issues, and help improve workflows across nursing, radiology, lab, and other departments. No prior IT experience is needed; you will receive training and full support to earn your Epic certification within six months.
What You'll Do
- Provide routine maintenance of Epic applications and systems using existing internal processes, policies, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic Epic application issues and provide end user support, escalating issues appropriately.
- Assist the team in analyzing Epic vendor software updates and test updates according to scripts.
- Code for Epic applications, including building application tables and reports.
- Assist with updating testing scripts to incorporate ongoing system development and implementations.
- Build requirements for configuration and business process changes.
- Follow tasks as assigned in project plans for routine projects to support meeting milestones and timeframes.
- Perform standard system testing, both unit and integrated.
- Organize requirement specifications, using data, diagrams, and flowcharts to inform decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience and education.
- No experience required.
- Ability to obtain Epic certification within the first six (6) months of employment.
