About the Role
This role supports the development and maintenance of environment, health, and safety initiatives by assisting with audits, documentation, and safety training under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting routine workplace safety inspections
- Support compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards
- Help maintain incident and injury tracking records
- Participate in safety training sessions and drills
- Contribute to hazard identification and risk assessments
- Organize and update safety data sheets and documentation
- Assist in preparing reports for regulatory compliance
- Support internal audits for EHS programs
- Track corrective actions from safety findings
- Help coordinate emergency preparedness activities
- Gather and analyze safety performance metrics
- Assist in monitoring air quality and noise exposure data
- Support waste management compliance efforts
- Participate in safety committee meetings
- Review safety procedures for continuous improvement
- Assist in onboarding new employees with safety orientation
- Maintain logs for equipment inspections and maintenance
- Support documentation for OSHA reporting requirements
- Help implement safety signage and labeling standards
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives within operations
- Assist in tracking personal protective equipment usage
