About the Role
This position supports the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater systems. Candidates will assist in engineering analyses, prepare technical documents, and collaborate with project teams to deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling for water systems
- Assist in the design of pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities
- Prepare engineering calculations and technical reports
- Support construction documentation and permitting processes
- Perform field inspections and site assessments
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project deliverables
- Use CAD and GIS software for design and mapping
- Review project specifications and regulatory requirements
- Participate in client meetings and project coordination
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards
- Develop construction cost estimates
- Assist in project scheduling and milestone tracking
- Evaluate existing infrastructure for rehabilitation needs
- Contribute to sustainability and resilience initiatives
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in engineering or related discipline
- Internship experience in water resources or civil infrastructure
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software
