Enterprise Solutions Engineer, Italy
Join a forward-thinking team focused on transforming how organizations approach API development. In this role, you'll work closely with the sales organization to advance enterprise adoption of a powerful collaboration platform for developers, QA teams, product managers, and engineering leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with strategic accounts to assess current workflows and identify opportunities to implement API-first practices
- Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements tailored to enterprise needs
- Address technical concerns by designing practical solutions and workarounds that align with customer goals
- Build and maintain sandbox environments to showcase real-world use cases and integration scenarios
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations that demonstrate platform capabilities within complex ecosystems
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating business challenges into technical outcomes using modern tooling and methodologies
- Share customer insights with internal teams to influence product direction and improve user experience
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive offerings, and evolving enterprise requirements in cloud and API technologies
What We’re Looking For
- At least 8 years of experience in enterprise pre-sales or solutions engineering roles
- Hands-on software development background with 4+ years working directly with APIs and data platforms
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven ability to engage technical and executive audiences, explaining complex concepts clearly
- Deep familiarity with developer workflows, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience navigating enterprise procurement processes and addressing security and compliance considerations
- Skilled in active listening and discovery techniques to uncover true customer objectives
- Comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time, with remote flexibility built into the role
- Passion for collaboration, continuous learning, and solving real-world engineering challenges
Technology Environment
Work across a modern stack including JavaScript, Git, CI/CD systems, containerized environments, monitoring tools, and cloud platforms. Your expertise will help others adopt best practices in API design, testing, and collaboration.
