Jobgether is looking for an Enterprise Data Architect to shape the data architecture for a large-scale organization. In this remote position based in the United States, you will define data strategy and governance, and design scalable platforms that enable data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute enterprise-wide data strategies and roadmaps aligned with business goals.
- Design domain-aligned data models and architectures to support analytics, AI/ML, and operational systems.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Facilitate cross-functional design sessions to ensure scalable, performant, and integrated solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms and recommend adoption strategies.
- Mentor and enable other architects and technical teams through training and best practices.
- Provide architectural guidance throughout project lifecycles.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or technical leadership within large-scale organizations.
- Expertise in data modeling, metadata management, data integration, and governance practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), and streaming technologies (Kafka, Spark).
- Practical experience implementing AI/ML solutions and cloud platforms at scale.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and change leadership skills.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, PCI).
Nice to Have
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman), data mesh/fabric, and analytics tools.
