Data Analyst at V_labs (Expired)

Work closely with clients from (Corporate) Venture Capital and Investment Firms to design and implement data architectures that support portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and investment decision-making.
Establish end-to-end data flows, from data ingestion and transformation to analytics and visualization.
Develop data models, support maintenance and implementation of data pipelines and data warehouses.
Build and optimize interactive dashboards and reports (primarily in Power BI or similar tools) to provide actionable insights into investment portfolios and venture performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business metrics and KPIs, ensuring that data analytics aligns with strategic goals.
Continuously improve data quality, documentation, and governance across projects.
Participate in the full project lifecycle — from data architecture and proof of concept to implementation and continuous optimization.
Support and mentor junior team members when needed and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the analytics community at V_labs.

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer or similar role.
Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, report creation) or comparable BI tools.
Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and ETL/ELT processes.
Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Completed IT-related education or equivalent qualification.
Excellent English skills.

Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Fabric, or similar modern data platforms is a strong plus.
Familiarity with investment or financial data (e.g., portfolio analytics, performance metrics) is an advantage.
German is a plus.
