RTX Corporation is seeking an Enterprise Audit Team Member to play a critical role in ensuring quality and compliance. You will lead, conduct, and plan internal Quality Management System audits for adherence to AS9100 standards across all Pratt & Whitney sites. This remote position demands significant travel and offers the opportunity to shape quality processes within a team dedicated to transforming the future of flight.
What You'll Do
- Lead, conduct, and plan internal QMS audits for compliance to the AS9100 series of standards across all PW sites.
- Perform all formal lead auditor responsibilities, including team selection, planning, management presentations, and report completion.
- Assist PW’s certification body during site surveillance and recertification audits.
- Facilitate certification body audit schedules, logistics, and the closure of corrective actions.
- Conduct comprehensive audit preparation and planning based on historical and current performance data.
- Support special audits and independent assessments as required by PW business units.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of quality assurance experience, or an Advanced Degree with 5 years of experience.
- Lead Auditor certification (AEA), with AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) to be completed within 4 to 12 months of accepting the position.
- 5+ years of Aerospace QMS auditing experience.
- AS9100D Lead Auditor Certification.
- Ability to be certified as an Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) within one year.
- Proficiency with executive management presentations.
- Ability to function effectively without direct supervision.
- Ability to travel up to 80% both domestically and internationally.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice to Have
- Existing certification to AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and train teams.
