Responsibilities
- Delivers administrative and operational assistance to ensure seamless daily functioning of the ENT & Lung Clinic.
- Organizes and maintains provider schedules, procedure blocks, call rotations, and outreach clinic assignments in coordination with leadership and medical staff.
- Acts as a communication bridge among ENT, Pulmonology, and Surgical Services to promote coordinated care and optimal use of resources.
- Manages preoperative coordination tasks, including patient communication, completion of required pre-surgery steps, and accurate EMR documentation.
- Oversees referrals, insurance authorizations, and patient scheduling workflows to identify and resolve access delays.
- Contributes to the creation and refinement of clinic processes, workflows, and informational materials as programs expand.
- Partners with leadership to uphold compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements specific to ENT and pulmonary services.
- Facilitates data gathering and reporting for quality improvement, patient volume analysis, and strategic program growth.
- Engages in community outreach and marketing efforts, including outreach to referring providers and external stakeholders.
- Provides administrative support to leadership, including managing calendars, correspondence, and organizing meetings.
- Serves as a primary contact for patients, clinicians, and cross-functional teams to ensure prompt communication and follow-through.
- Participates in continuous process improvement initiatives focused on access, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
