Ocado Group is hiring an Engineering Technician to ensure the smooth operation of our automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Luton. In this hands-on role, you'll work with advanced technology as the first line of response for engineering issues, directly impacting site performance.
What You'll Do
- Act as the first line of response for engineering faults, diagnosing and resolving issues quickly.
- Carry out planned servicing and repairs on automated equipment.
- Participate in proactive improvement projects to enhance reliability and efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, practical approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and share knowledge.
- Comfort working at height using access equipment, following all site safety standards.
Nice to Have
- A technical understanding of automation hardware and software, ideally including control systems.
- A formal engineering qualification.
