Procurify is hiring an Engineering Manager, Vendors and Contracts

At Procurify, we’re modernizing business spend management. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager, Vendors and Contracts to build out and lead a new team dedicated to enhancing our vendor and contracts solution. You’ll create a new vendor portal and collaboration features, serving as a technical leader who delivers key strategic initiatives using modern AI development tools.

What You'll Do

• Manage a team of 4–6 full-stack, AI-native software engineers, providing coaching and fostering career growth.
• Lead the team to deliver consistently against ambitious goals, define success metrics, and track progress.
• Own the technical direction and long-term vision for the Vendors and Contracts team, ensuring designs are architecturally sound and scalable.
• Guide the team in building vendor portal and collaboration features using modern AI development tools and practices.
• Partner with the team’s Product Manager and Designer to understand customer needs and drive product success.
• Mentor senior engineers and team leads to support the growth of future engineering leaders.
• Collaborate with partners across the organization including Security, Platform, and Data teams.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in a direct people management role.
• Experience building scalable, customer-facing SaaS products using modern technologies.
• Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, vector databases (Databricks/pgVector), and agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, Google ADK, or similar).
• Strong experience with software design principles and patterns, with a track record of evolving large-scale applications.
• Strong knowledge of agile development practices, CI/CD, test automation, and building for observability.
• A self-driven, accountable leader who thrives in an autonomous, fast-paced environment and leads with empathy.
• Exceptional communicator, able to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Maintains a professional and current LinkedIn profile.

Nice to Have

• A strong interest or background in the FinTech ecosystem.
• Direct experience building products in order requisition, purchase order creation, vendor management, or B2B procurement.
