Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proven leadership in engineering teams that deliver high-impact products, with clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders including engineers, product managers, and executives.
- Collaborate closely with product partners to reframe problems, validate solution relevance, and align engineering work with measurable business outcomes such as retention and conversion, not just technical delivery.
- Apply strong technical judgment to guide architecture and system design decisions, balancing feature velocity with long-term scalability and technical debt management through transparent trade-off analysis.
- Lead team development through regular one-on-one meetings, career growth planning, hiring, promotions, and fostering a culture of feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure consistent and predictable delivery by aligning closely with Product and Design, proactively communicating priorities, risks, and constraints, and promoting decision-making through constructive debate and commitment.
