What You’ll Do
- Coach and grow engineers, supporting their performance, accountability, and long-term career growth
- Build a collaborative environment where teams learn through action, make confident decisions, and deliver high-quality work
- Shape team structure and processes thoughtfully—adding clarity where needed, staying lightweight where possible
- Stay technically engaged to guide architecture, challenge trade-offs, and unblock progress when necessary
- Partner with Product and Design to align on goals, priorities, and what success looks like
- Communicate effectively through change, giving your team context and confidence to move forward
- Balance speed, quality, and maintainability while adapting to shifting demands and emerging opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of direct engineering management experience in a scaling product environment
- Proven ability to lead teams through complexity, maintaining focus and morale in fast-moving conditions
- Solid software engineering background with hands-on experience in system design and technical mentorship
- Skill in aligning cross-functional teams and translating ambiguity into clear direction
- Experience in high-growth SaaS organizations, with a track record of building resilient, effective teams
- Comfort operating technically when needed, while prioritizing people leadership and team effectiveness
