As Engineering Manager, you'll play a central role in scaling the engineering function during a pivotal phase of growth. You'll build and lead a talented team, ensuring strong technical execution while shaping the foundation of engineering practices. What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience growing engineering teams in fast-moving startup environments from early to growth stages
- A history of improving team performance—shipping faster, reducing incidents, and scaling hiring
- Deep technical fluency across full-stack systems, with the ability to step in on architecture when needed
- Commitment to cultivating a culture of accountability, high standards, and continuous improvement
- Experience delivering reliable, scalable software that solves real business challenges
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with React, TypeScript, and Go
- Background in data engineering or fintech systems
- Founder experience, particularly in early-stage ventures
- Exposure to SaaS or B2B platforms
- Passion for simplifying financial concepts for non-expert users
Work Environment
This is a remote-first role open to candidates across North America. The team gathers quarterly in San Francisco for in-person collaboration, with optional access to workspaces in San Francisco and New York City. The culture values transparency, ownership, and continuous learning.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $240,000 to $280,000, complemented by generous early employee equity and comprehensive benefits. You’ll have the opportunity to shape engineering culture, engage directly with customers, and contribute to long-term strategic planning.
