Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of frontend engineers through regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and career growth planning, cultivating a team environment rooted in technical excellence, independence, and responsibility.
- Maintain a balance between deep technical engagement and project delivery oversight to help engineers stay focused while delivering reliable results.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development to strengthen frontend engineering capacity.
- Design and implement a modular frontend architecture using Module Federation and Micro Frontends to reduce complexity and speed up development cycles.
- Lead the migration of the Dashboard application from Angular to React and advance a unified hybrid mobile strategy using CapacitorJS and shared webviews to ensure consistent behavior across platforms.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards across the frontend codebase, focusing on code quality, performance, and developer efficiency.
- Manage the evolution of development tools and frameworks, including React 19, TypeScript 5, Webpack, and MUI 7, to build secure, scalable, and future-ready systems with AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with architecture and design system teams to enhance the component library for mobile use and consistent cross-platform experiences.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of critical issues in multi-frontend environments and implement systemic fixes to prevent future incidents.
- Work closely with product, design, and backend leadership to shape platform roadmaps that prioritize mobile-first, modular user experiences.
- Coordinate with mobile and backend platform teams to align architecture, improve performance, reliability, and maximize code reuse across platforms.
- Communicate frontend platform strategy to senior leadership, clearly articulating technical tradeoffs and their impact on business outcomes.
