Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team through people management, mentoring, and hiring.
- Define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the Core Commerce Services domain.
- Drive the design and delivery of scalable services and platform capabilities, including our headless checkout.
- Establish clear domain boundaries, APIs, and integration patterns using domain-driven design principles.
- Collaborate with Product and adjacent engineering teams, including Payments, while balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
- Ensure operational excellence through secure, scalable, resilient, and observable systems.
- Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
