What You'll Do
Lead engineers in building and launching AI agents that power customer interactions at scale. You’ll own the full lifecycle—from design to deployment—for systems handling millions of conversations. Work hands-on: review code, troubleshoot live issues, and integrate with customer workflows to ensure success.
Drive measurable improvements in automation and quality while managing escalations and leading customer reviews. Collaborate closely with Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success to align technical delivery with business outcomes. Translate field insights into platform improvements by identifying gaps, failures, and opportunities.
Develop evaluation frameworks to validate performance in production and turn findings into actionable product requirements. Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities. Guide your team through ambiguity, maintain focus under pressure, and foster a culture of urgency without burnout.
Requirements
You have experience leading teams that build and scale production systems. You’re technically strong, able to solve complex problems, and comfortable guiding engineers in fast-evolving environments. Your background includes AI/ML systems—especially agent orchestration, prompt engineering, RAG, or evaluation frameworks.
Your leadership balances high expectations with empathy, enabling both speed and quality. You’ve worked directly with customers, translating business needs into technical solutions. You define success by customer outcomes, not just shipped features. You communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Production experience with AI/LLM systems at scale
- Founder, startup, or early-stage experience with high ownership and initiative
- Familiarity with LangChain, eval tools, observability platforms, or modern agent tooling
