PCX Corporation is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in the efficient delivery of technical projects. You will manage resources, budgets, and timelines while ensuring the development of high-quality engineering solutions and providing critical technical guidance.
What You'll Do
- Serve in a leadership role, directly supervising project engineers and designers.
- Oversee, manage, and support calibration programs for production and facility equipment.
- Develop concepts for new and revised products that maximize function, safety, and user benefits while minimizing costs.
- Direct the preparation of models and lab testing as required for product development.
- Prepare and maintain Project Control Charts and schedules.
- Participate in meetings to communicate and coordinate projects across various departments.
- Develop the site maintenance budget for approval and manage site budget costs to meet approved targets.
- Direct the preparation and checking of product drawings.
- Prepare product standards and specifications and secure agency listings as required (UL/CSA, etc.).
- Approve tooling, assemblies, and updated drawings, and release approved product for production.
What We're Looking For
- 6-10 years of relevant engineering experience.
- 6-10 years of supervisory experience in an engineering-related field.
- Ability to check design drawings with extreme thoroughness and strict attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple design projects with varying priority levels.
- A strong track record working with systems engineering functions (concept of operations, requirements management, technical risk management, interface definition and control).
- Experience effectively communicating and presenting to all levels of management and individual contributors.
- Strong organization, coordination, planning, and collaboration skills.
- Experience supporting engineering teams in a multi-discipline environment.
- Experience conducting system integration and tests, including developing integration and test plans, cases, and procedures.
- Ability to visualize system functionality, create block diagrams, and analyze system performance.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Systems Engineering.
