Responsibilities
- Drive team impact by fostering high technical productivity and reliability.

- Represent the team in engineering-wide planning, initiatives, and processes.
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to shape our technical roadmap and solve problems that improve the patient and doctor experience.
- Set and communicate clear team objectives that align with Counterpart's company goals and roadmap.
- Lead hiring, development, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team.
Requirements
- technical leadership experience managing teams of 3+ engineers
- strong background in system design and proficiency in general-purpose programming languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Java
- track record of leading development projects while creating opportunities for others to grow into leadership roles
- experience in fast-paced environments, making quick, strategic decisions under competing constraints
- proven ability to successfully deliver complex web applications and services
- adaptable and able to work across various technical systems and concerns
