IFS is seeking an Engineering Manager with a strong focus on operational strategy to scale our technology, processes, and team effectiveness. You will lead efforts to establish robust operational processes, minimize downtime, increase reliability, and streamline delivery pipelines. What We're Looking For
- Experience managing resources and translating business needs into functional requirements.
- A history of working on enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering projects for SaaS applications.
- Experience with cloud and container-based applications.
- Experience in cross-functional areas including quality, security, build, deployment, and support.
- Passion for managing continuous optimizations and enhancements.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, enabling clear decision-making and effective collaboration with stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Proven ability to deliver complex initiatives with high quality and predictable timelines, coaching teams on prioritization and accountability.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to enhance the growth of your direct reports.
- Strong working ethics and the ability to be a professional role model for compliance and accountability.
Nice to Have
- Broad knowledge of software architecture, microservice design, container orchestration, and cloud concepts.
- Ability to think at the macro level while ensuring designs work on the micro level.
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR) and hands-on experience aligning cloud infrastructure and processes to meet these standards.
