IntellectEU is looking for an Engineering Lead to coordinate engineering excellence across our Digital Assets and AI initiatives. This role is central to evolving and standardizing our use of Agentic AI, ensuring architectural coherence, engineering quality, and scalable delivery. You will shape how AI agents are designed, governed, and integrated into blockchain-based and regulated systems.
What You'll Do
- Align and coordinate technical leads across roles and ensure architectural consistency across projects.
- Define and enforce engineering standards and best practices for production-ready distributed systems.
- Set standards for designing and implementing Agentic AI systems, including AI frameworks, orchestration layers, and integration patterns.
- Establish AI governance frameworks covering traceability, explainability, compliance, and monitoring.
- Ensure scalable and secure blockchain integrations, validating smart contract and distributed system architecture decisions.
- Ensure DevSecOps alignment within regulated environments.
- Partner with Product and Delivery leads to ensure realistic engineering planning.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 3–5+ years in senior technical leadership roles.
- Excellent English communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Practical understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
- Experience with blockchain platforms, both enterprise and public.
- Strong DevSecOps knowledge.
- Experience integrating AI with external APIs, smart contracts, or transactional systems.
- Experience with LLM architectures, agent-based and multi-agent systems, AI observability, governance, and MLOps/model lifecycle management.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Canton and EVM-based chains.
- Familiarity with secure transaction systems and regulated environments.
- Knowledge of tokenization, custody, or the digital asset lifecycle.
- Understanding of DeFi concepts.
