Responsibilities

- Support design teams with foundation and slope stability analysis
- Interpret geological data for project planning
- Oversee laboratory testing of soil samples
- Develop excavation support plans
- Evaluate seismic hazards and ground motion impacts
- Assess risks related to landslides and settlement
- Collaborate with civil engineers and project managers
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations
- Use geospatial tools for data interpretation
- Participate in construction monitoring and observation
- Review grading and drainage plans
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and project schedules
- Conduct field logging of subsurface materials
- Apply principles of soil mechanics and rock mechanics
- Support emergency response for ground-related incidents
- Maintain accurate field records and documentation
- Present findings to project stakeholders

- Coordinate with environmental specialists
- Support permitting and regulatory submissions
