We are looking for an Engineering professional to join a dynamic team of developers, process experts, and project managers. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining business intelligence and performance accuracy tools that empower our Engineering teams.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain business intelligence and performance accuracy tools in support of Engineering.
- Find the most effective ways to present complex information and facilitate decision-making.
- Perform data modeling for proper analysis and insight.
- Improve existing performance tracking tools into a harmonized ecosystem.
- Help build the roadmap for business intelligence growth within Engineering.
- Provide support and guidance to colleagues using the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Collaborate on our artificial engineering vision.
- Coordinate with other BI developers to optimize common data pipelines and share a vision.
- Interface with our PLM and ERP systems.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience using Microsoft PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent.
- Proven experience developing effective dashboards.
- Knowledge of database management, SQL querying, and data modeling.
- Attention to detail and the ability to clearly convey information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and French, with the capacity to train or guide others.
- Ability to work well in a team with both developers and business analysts.
- Some experience using the various Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.
- Comfort using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, along with good business sense.
- An organized, autonomous individual who manages time effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience with data warehouses and/or datalakes.
- Experience writing code using Python.
