What You'll Do
Shape the strategic direction of the Risk function by leading the development of its analytics roadmap and influencing cross-functional priorities. Translate complex risk challenges into structured analytical problems, delivering insights that guide decision-making at the leadership level.
Lead initiatives to detect and reduce fraud, assess credit risk, and strengthen payment integrity through advanced data analysis. Design and manage reporting frameworks that support real-time operational decisions and enhance the effectiveness of risk operations teams.
Build and mentor a team of analysts, fostering technical growth and business understanding. Prioritize analytical work based on impact, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and evolving risk needs. Promote a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement within your team and across analytics functions.
Collaborate with BI and Data Science teams to implement predictive models, automated testing, and behavioral analytics. Champion best practices in data modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning to strengthen how the company evaluates risk and opportunity.
Requirements
You have a proven track record leading analytics teams in a scaling organization, with hands-on experience in risk analytics and data-driven strategy. You bring strong leadership presence and the ability to influence business decisions through insight.
- Experience managing teams in analytics, with success in growing and scaling talent
- Deep familiarity with risk domains including fraud detection, credit risk, and payment integrity
- Expert proficiency in SQL and complex data environments
- Proficiency with Tableau or similar tools to build clear, actionable visualizations
- Strong foundation in analytical methods such as predictive modeling, simulation, and impact evaluation
- Strategic thinker with the ability to connect data insights to business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical findings for executive audiences
- Understanding of SaaS metrics, customer health, and operational drivers
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with autonomy and precision
