Digital Trendteam is hiring a Remote Support Engineer to provide expert technical support for our Innovation Suite of products, primarily FactoryTalk Production Center/Pharma Suite and MES. You'll be the key contact resolving complex application and product issues for a global customer base.
What You'll Do
- Work with customers to resolve their application and product issues for FactoryTalk Production Center/Pharma Suite and MES.
- Create and publish knowledgebase articles, blogs, or videos for reference by customers and employees.
- Provide technical support services via phone, screen sharing, and email to Developers, System Administrators, Field Consultants, and Engineers.
- Provide after-hours and weekend support on a rotational basis to support 24x7 customers globally.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant degree.
- Understanding of Rockwell Software products including FactoryTalk Production Centre, Pharma Suite, Modular Framework and CPG.
- 3+ years' experience troubleshooting, implementing, and/or designing industrial process and/or automation systems.
- Experience installing, configuring and administering Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, Web-based applications, Relational Databases, and Open-Source Projects (Apache Web-Server, Apache Tomcat, OpenDS, JBoss, Active MQ).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of manufacturing with core tools such as Logic controller, historians, SQL, MES and ERP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Configuration and development of SQL code), PostgreSQL, SSRS, Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft Office.
- Programming experience in at least one of: Visual Studio, Java, JavaScripting, Python, R, C# or C++ or equivalent.
- Familiarity with protocols such as LDAP, SSL/TLS.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Dockers.
- Knowledge of Storage Networking & Cloud Computing (Microsoft Azure or AWS).
