HARMAN is looking for an Engineer, Project Quality to join our team. You will be responsible for the flawless launch of new projects, effective process quality control, fast-response to customer 0km complaints, and driving continuous improvement for COPQ and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Manage project Quality Engineers, IPQC, and OQC personnel.
- Lead internal PSO document review and iPSO audits.
- Initiate safe launch activities and monitor execution performance.
- Collect and submit PPAP documentation.
- Deliver quality training and provide quality support to the project team.
- Participate in failure analysis and quality issue investigations.
- Monitor the manufacturing process.
- Maintain existing SOP project quality control systems.
- Lead continuous improvement activities to reduce COPQ.
- Train and coach quality engineers.
- Ensure compliance with IATF16949, customer requirements, and the Harman BMS.
- Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on external and internal KPIs and quality status.
- Provide fast-response, root-cause analysis, and effective action for customer 0km complaints.
- Complete other additional tasks assigned by your supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in electrical engineering.
- 10 years of quality working experience in automotive, audio, or electronics industries, including 3 years in a management position.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and experience.
- Thorough understanding of statistical methods, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and automotive quality management systems.
- Experience with active participation in ISO/TS 16949 assessments.
- Professional experience obtained in the automotive industry.
- Quality-related experience is highly desirable.
- Direct experience handling customer complaints.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both oral and written English is a must.
- Must be a self-starter and a team player.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Fluency in speaking and written Mandarin, as well as written and spoken English.
- Good communication capability and team cooperation spirit.
- Capable of operating professional software like Excel and PowerPoint.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
- Quality-related working experience at an OEM.
- Experience handling customer complaints for multiple OEMs.
