About the Role

nbn co limited is looking for a Senior Engineer to enable the seamless augmentation and migration of nbn's Core Networks. You will guide the development and implementation of processes, tools, and scripting to strengthen network integration activities, reduce human error, and improve network integrity, supporting a critical national infrastructure project.

What You'll Do

  • Guide the development and implementation of processes, tools, and scripting for network integration activities.
  • Support business-critical after-hours work to ensure customer and service continuity during migrations, cutovers, and augmentations.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, delivery partners, and vendors.
  • Contribute to the continuous uplift of work instructions, procedures, and troubleshooting practices.
  • Provide guidance, technical leadership, and practical coaching to Migration Engineers.

What We're Looking For

  • Deep experience in telecommunications or IT environments.
  • Strong technical capability across network integration, OSS systems, and multi-technology domains.
  • Experience across EAN/ANE Core aggregation networks, HFC, FTTN/B/P/C, Enterprise Ethernet, Fixed Wireless, Satellite, and associated OSS platforms.
  • A thoughtful and steady approach to solving complex engineering challenges.
  • Ability to make informed technical decisions and know when to collaborate and elevate matters to senior leaders.
  • Project management skills to balance competing priorities.
  • Ability to create and refine processes to support consistent outcomes across large-scale programs.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
