About the Role
In this role, you will lead the seamless enhancement and transition of core network systems, guiding process and tool development to improve quality and efficiency. You will apply deep technical knowledge across multiple network technologies to deliver safe, reliable changes while supporting critical after-hours operations and mentoring engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Enable smooth expansion and transition of core network infrastructure
- Lead the creation and deployment of tools, processes, and automation to improve consistency and effectiveness in network integration
- Support improvements in deployment methods to minimize human error
- Enhance network reliability across a range of technology platforms
- Apply technical expertise in core aggregation networks, HFC, FTTN/B/P/C, Enterprise Ethernet, Fixed Wireless, Satellite, and related OSS systems
- Deliver secure and dependable network modifications
- Participate in essential after-hours support to maintain service continuity during network transitions
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams and vendors
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in work instructions, operational procedures, and troubleshooting methods
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and hands-on coaching to Migration Engineers
- Promote clear communication, teamwork, and shared objectives to ensure precise project execution with minimal customer disruption
