As an Engineer on the Engineering Services team, you will lead the implementation and configuration of integration solutions between clients and third-party systems. Your work will center on file-based and programmatic connections within a financial technology platform, ensuring reliable and scalable data exchange across global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, test, and deploy components of the product suite with an emphasis on operational workflows and file-driven integrations.
- Manage concurrent client projects, prioritizing tasks to meet delivery timelines and resolve backlogs efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams including consultants, project managers, and relationship leads to align technical delivery with client needs.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes and contribute to improved workflows and repeatable implementation strategies.
- Support internal and external escalation inquiries, providing technical insight and resolution pathways.
- Act as a technical resource for team members and help strengthen team-wide knowledge sharing.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate strong organizational and analytical abilities. Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment is essential. You must be comfortable troubleshooting complex systems and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proficiency with relational databases and Windows server environments is required. Familiarity with learning new software tools quickly is expected. Preferred candidates will have two or more years in financial services or technical support, with exposure to middle- or back-office investment operations.
Knowledge of securities settlement, custody, reconciliation, and the broader investment lifecycle is advantageous. Experience with equity, fixed income, and derivative instruments—both domestic and international—is highly valued. Technical skills in XSLT, Python, XML, or SQL will strengthen your application.
