About the Role
The Engagement Associate helps build vibrant student communities by supporting the design and delivery of programs that encourage participation, connection, and personal development within a pluralistic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing student events and programs
- Support outreach efforts to engage diverse student populations
- Help maintain communication channels with student leaders
- Coordinate logistics for local and regional gatherings
- Track participation and engagement metrics
- Contribute to the development of program materials
- Facilitate connections between students and mentors
- Support efforts to create inclusive and welcoming environments
- Assist with training for student volunteers
- Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner
- Promote events through digital and in-person channels
- Gather feedback to improve program offerings
- Work with staff to tailor programs to student needs
- Maintain accurate records of program activities
- Support intercampus collaboration when applicable
- Assist in onboarding new student participants
- Help evaluate program effectiveness
- Coordinate with vendors and campus partners
- Support fundraising initiatives as needed
- Uphold organizational values in all interactions
- Attend team meetings and professional development sessions
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines
- Support crisis response protocols when necessary
- Help prepare reports for internal review
