Responsibilities

  • Analyze data, interpret findings, and produce reports with visualizations to support research initiatives.
  • Work with researchers, non-profits, government entities, and community groups to advance shared goals.
  • Build and use energy models and statistical methods across diverse topics, ensuring accuracy and relevance of outputs.
  • Handle large-scale datasets through extraction, structuring, cleaning, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Establish and manage systems for organizing data and code efficiently and reproducibly.
  • Apply programming languages such as Python or R in local and cloud environments for data tasks and process automation.
  • Translate technical findings into accessible content for media, blogs, and public audiences.
  • Deliver concise summaries and timely analyses for stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Offer expert support to governments, communities, and organizations on energy-related matters.
  • Bridge scientific research and policy by clearly conveying insights in varied stakeholder settings.
  • Lead independent research activities across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Support publication of peer-reviewed studies and strengthen science-based policy development.
  • Advise and mentor junior staff and team members as needed.
  • Contribute scientific input to funding proposals and outreach with key stakeholders.
