What You'll Do
In this role, you will lead emergency care delivery within a well-established regional hospital, ensuring timely and effective treatment for patients. You'll oversee clinical operations in the emergency department and respond to urgent medical events, including critical care activations. Collaboration with medical teams and participation in multidisciplinary planning are central to daily responsibilities.
You will contribute to clinical governance through involvement in quality assurance, case reviews, and performance audits. Teaching and mentoring opportunities are available, and your input will help shape ongoing improvements in patient care standards.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical degree
- Possess specialist recognition as FACEM, FACRRM, or FRACGP
- Demonstrate experience in emergency care and readiness to work autonomously in a clinical leadership role
