Paired is looking for a part-time Email Marketing Strategist to develop and optimize email and SMS marketing campaigns for a US-based ecommerce company. You will be responsible for segmentation, automation, and implementing data-driven strategies to increase customer engagement and drive sales.
What You'll Do
- Develop and optimize email and SMS marketing flows, including welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase, and win-back campaigns.
- Build and segment customer lists for personalized messaging.
- Create and test high-converting email templates, subject lines, and offers.
- Analyze key performance indicators like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to optimize campaign performance.
- Collaborate with the creative team on email design and copy.
- Manage and improve loyalty programs, subscription models, and retention strategies.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in email and SMS marketing within ecommerce or direct-to-consumer brands.
- Strong knowledge of Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar tools for automation, segmentation, and reporting.
- Proven experience building marketing flows such as welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase, and win-back.
- Ability to analyze KPIs including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and revenue per recipient to guide optimization.
- Experience in A/B testing subject lines, creatives, and offers to drive performance.
- Strong understanding of list segmentation, deliverability, and compliance like GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
- Solid copywriting and/or design sense for creating engaging content in collaboration with creative teams.
