About the Role
The consultant will evaluate and improve email delivery performance across multiple clients, focusing on technical setup, authentication, list hygiene, and compliance with ISP requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assess current email sending infrastructure for optimal deliverability
- Monitor sender reputation and identify factors affecting inbox placement
- Review DNS configurations, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records
- Analyze email authentication protocols for accuracy and consistency
- Evaluate IP and domain warm-up strategies
- Audit email content for spam trigger risks
- Provide recommendations to improve engagement metrics
- Troubleshoot delivery failures and blacklist issues
- Ensure compliance with major ISP guidelines
- Optimize list acquisition and hygiene practices
- Review suppression list management
- Suggest improvements to email frequency and segmentation
- Assist with seed list monitoring setup
- Evaluate third-party email service providers
- Support domain alignment and branding strategies
- Conduct inbox placement testing
- Report on key deliverability metrics
- Guide clients on best practices for sender consistency
- Assess feedback loop registrations
- Recommend authentication and security enhancements
- Review email header structures
- Advise on subdomain strategy for sending
- Monitor for spoofing or domain abuse
- Support re-engagement campaigns for inactive subscribers
- Document findings and action plans
