Klabin is hiring an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our industrial assets. This role applies maintenance engineering tools and failure analysis to drive continuous improvement, reduce risk, optimize costs, and sustain operational performance.
What You'll Do
- Conduct failure analyses and equipment reliability studies using historical maintenance and performance data.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze reliability indicators like MTBF and MTTR, proposing continuous improvement actions.
- Identify operational losses and improvement opportunities, structuring technical studies to increase asset availability.
- Provide technical support to maintenance during critical interventions, emergencies, and scheduled or general shutdowns.
- Develop improvements in components and materials, including qualifying alternative suppliers to reduce costs and increase reliability.
- Contribute to the technical development of the maintenance team, supporting training, skills matrices, and safety practices.
What We're Looking For
- Complete higher education in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related area.
- Experience in maintenance engineering, reliability, or industrial maintenance.
- Experience with failure analysis, reliability studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience with maintenance and reliability indicators such as MTBF and MTTR.
- Knowledge in planning and technical support for scheduled shutdowns and maintenance interventions.
- Ability to act analytically and collaboratively in the technical development of teams and in improving asset performance.
