WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is hiring a contract Electrical Engineer to work onsite at our New Stanton, PA location. In this role, you will be responsible for testing Eagle Hardware and Software to ensure functionality and accuracy for nuclear power plant controls.
What You'll Do
- Test Eagle Hardware and Software to ensure functionality is working and accurate.
- Conduct specific testing, including initial training for Westinghouse, New Stanton, and Eagle Test Bed access.
- Utilize test data to create an MS Word based Test Report.
- Perform troubleshooting efforts on Hardware I&C equipment.
- Execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.
- 0-4 years of engineering experience.
- Knowledge of digital and analog hardware/system design and operation.
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit analysis/design.
- Strong communication skills.
Team & Environment
You will be reporting to the Eagle Supervisor, Standard Hardware and Common Q Platform.
