An Electrical Engineer is needed to test microprocessor-based instrumentation and controls systems at a New Stanton, PA facility. This contract role involves hardware and software testing, generating test reports, troubleshooting, and working within project timelines to support nuclear power plant technologies.
Responsibilities
- Test microprocessor-based hardware and software systems to verify proper functionality and accuracy.
- Complete initial training to gain access to the Eagle Test Bed and site-specific systems in New Stanton.
- Analyze test data and prepare detailed test reports using Microsoft Word.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with instrumentation and controls hardware.
- Carry out assigned tasks independently while adhering to project schedules and budget constraints.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 0 to 4 years of professional engineering experience.
- Understanding of digital and analog hardware system design and operation.
- Proficiency in analog and digital circuit analysis and design.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
