About the Role

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is hiring an EHR Lead Product Manager to lead the modernization of the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. You will drive strategic initiatives, ensure successful implementation of Oracle Health/Cerner and other solutions, and foster strong client relationships throughout the modernization journey.

What You'll Do

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for IHS EHR modernization, aligning with organizational goals and federal requirements.
  • Partner closely with Oracle Health/Cerner teams to ensure seamless integration and optimization of EHR solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IHS stakeholders, building trust and ensuring client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to capture business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and prioritize features.
  • Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery of milestones within scope and budget.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, interoperability standards, and security protocols.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years in product management within healthcare IT or EHR systems.
  • Proven experience with Oracle Health/Cerner products and implementations required.
  • Familiarity with federal health programs and interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with large-scale EHR modernization projects strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of tribal health systems and federal healthcare programs.
  • PMP or Agile certification.
  • Strong client relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Compensation: $142,792 - $178,250
