Junior Adventures Group is seeking a passionate Casual Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services in the Gladstone Region. In this role, you will work split shifts to run engaging before and after school care programs, facilitating a child-centered environment for children aged 5-12 years.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate a varied, child-centered program with activities such as STEM, sport, cooking, and art and craft.
- Foster healthy relationships with children, parents, the school, and the wider community.
- Work collaboratively with a team of skilled Educators onsite to deliver seamless before and after school care.
What We're Looking For
- A genuine enjoyment of working with children.
- Strong and clear communication skills.
- A team player attitude with a desire to grow into a service leadership role.
- Hold or willingness to obtain a national police check and a state-based working with children check (company will pay for the police check).
- Valid Australian work rights.
Nice to Have
- A relevant qualification for working with children in OSHC, as per ACECQA guidelines.
Team & Environment
You will work in a team of Educators with the direct support of a Coordinator to deliver quality care.
