North40 Outfitters is looking for an E-Commerce and Operations Assistant to support the Smith & Rogue brand. This is a hands-on role focused on building complete product pages, writing detailed product descriptions, and helping launch products. You will be key in ensuring our e-commerce content reflects the brand's aesthetic and standards.
What You'll Do
- Upload and manage products on the Smith & Rogue website, including images, descriptions, variants, and metadata.
- Write clear, engaging product descriptions that speak to function, features, and brand voice.
- Ensure we have all product and marketing materials for new arrivals and product launches.
- Contribute and assist with updating website content including blogs, newsletters and updating pages as needed.
- Serve as the first point of contact and set the tone for our brand experience.
- Manage returns, exchanges, defective products, order issues, and technical product questions.
- Upload, organize, and maintain a clean, searchable asset library.
- Assist with light photo editing and exports.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing team to brainstorm ideas and maintain brand alignment.
- Assist with studio product photography (gear, apparel, accessories).
- Assist with lifestyle photography.
- Help coordinate samples for shoots and ensure products are ready to photograph.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Basic photo or video editing skills.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Adobe Commerce).
- Basic HTML knowledge.
- Understanding of SEO-friendly product listings and metadata.
