What You'll Do
Perform in-depth linguistic reviews of machine-translated customer service materials, focusing on accuracy, fluency, and adherence to established guidelines. You'll conduct second-level quality checks to verify consistency across content batches and confirm the correct application of quality scoring.
Assess and standardize evaluations of translation errors to ensure alignment with defined quality benchmarks. Identify recurring patterns in machine translation output, such as tone discrepancies, incorrect terminology usage, or structural flaws, and document these for broader analysis.
Deliver clear, actionable feedback that supports final quality reporting and helps shape ongoing improvements to translation processes. Your insights will directly influence the refinement of automated systems and post-editing workflows.
Requirements
- Native-level command of Dutch as spoken in the Netherlands, with strong reading and writing skills in English
- Proven experience in translation, localization, or post-editing of machine-generated text
- Background in evaluating machine translation outputs and categorizing linguistic errors
- Highly detail-oriented with a consistent focus on quality and precision
- Capable of managing tasks independently in a remote, digital workspace
