Role Overview
This position is responsible for performing in-depth quality assessments of machine-translated customer service material in Dutch (Netherlands). As a second-pass reviewer, you will verify translations for linguistic precision, tone, and adherence to established project standards. Your insights will support broader quality assurance initiatives and help refine automated translation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed linguistic reviews to confirm accuracy, fluency, and consistency across translated content batches.
- Verify and adjust severity ratings for translation errors to ensure alignment with defined quality benchmarks.
- Detect recurring machine translation problems, such as incorrect terminology, tone deviations, or structural inaccuracies.
- Deliver meaningful qualitative feedback that informs quality reports and drives enhancements in translation performance.
Qualifications
- Native-level command of Dutch (Netherlands) and solid proficiency in English.
- Background in translation, localization, or post-editing of machine-generated content.
- Experience identifying and categorizing machine translation errors.
- Highly detail-oriented with a consistent focus on quality outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage tasks independently in a remote, digital workspace.
Compensation & Work Environment
This role offers an hourly rate of $42.66 and is fully remote, open to candidates worldwide. There is no requirement to be located in a specific region, and work can be conducted independently within a flexible online setup.
