Welocalize is hiring a Dutch Gaming Localization Linguist on a freelance basis to work from the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for adapting gaming content for Dutch-speaking audiences, ensuring both linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
What You'll Do
- Translate and localize gaming content from English into Dutch
- Ensure translations meet project-specific terminology and style guidelines
- Perform linguistic quality assurance (QA) testing on localized content
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver high-quality work on schedule
What We're Looking For
- Native-level fluency in Dutch and professional proficiency in English
- Proven experience in translation and localization, specifically for gaming content
- Strong understanding of gaming culture and terminology
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a freelance capacity
- Must be based in the Netherlands
