Stericycle is looking for a Driver Route NonCDL-Med to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing assigned accounts in a professional manner, ensuring customers' waste pickup and supply delivery needs are met while providing the highest level of customer service. You will be instrumental in protecting health and well-being in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
What You'll Do
- Manage assigned routes ensuring customers’ waste is picked up in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
- Plan daily schedule based on customers’ needs by reviewing daily paperwork and following routing software.
- Pick up specified waste from each customer site scheduled for the day.
- Ensure customers have packaged waste according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations before transporting.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to assigned accounts daily, communicating any issues for resolution.
- Ensure waste, supplies, and equipment are secured prior to operating the vehicle on a public highway.
- Complete all assigned paperwork legibly, neatly, accurately, and completely.
- Complete DOT Driver Log and use ELD (electronic logging device) and Geotab to log hours in accordance with DOT guidelines, if applicable.
- Communicate with the Transportation Supervisor and/or Dispatcher regarding any route changes or problems.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on assigned trucks and report any maintenance problems.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid standard driver’s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
- Ability to obtain and retain a valid Medical Examiner Card (MED).
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, respond to inquiries, and make required reports and records.
Nice to Have
- 6+ months of experience, preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Team & Environment
You will report directly to a Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher.
