Stericycle is hiring a Driver Route NonCDL-Med to provide essential services protecting health and well-being. In this role, you will ensure customers' waste is picked up safely and accurately, while delivering the highest level of customer service. You'll be a key part of our mission to protect people and brands in a responsible and sustainable way.
What You'll Do
- Manage assigned routes, ensuring customers' waste is picked up in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
- Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations.
- Plan daily schedule based on customers' needs by reviewing daily paperwork and following routing software.
- Prepare and load trucks with necessary supplies and unload waste at various Stericycle and customer sites.
- Verify customers have packaged waste correctly before transport and secure all materials prior to operating on public highways.
- Provide the highest level of customer service, communicating any issues promptly for resolution.
- Complete all assigned and DOT paperwork legibly and accurately.
- Communicate route changes or issues to your Transportation Supervisor and/or Dispatcher.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip maintenance on your assigned vehicle and report any problems.
- Use an ELD (electronic logging device) and Geotab to log hours in accordance with DOT guidelines.
What We're Looking For
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid standard driver’s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
- Ability to obtain and retain a valid Medical Examiner Card (MED).
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, respond to official inquiries, and make required reports.
Nice to Have
- 6+ months of experience, preferably in driving shred/box trucks and route management.
- High School diploma or equivalent education.

Team & Environment
You will report directly to a Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher.
