Boots is looking for a Driver to join our Healthcare Logistics team. You will deliver and collect medicines from Care Homes, patients at home, GP surgeries, and Boots stores within an allocated route time, providing outstanding customer care and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while following safety protocols.
What You'll Do
- Build great relationships with store teams, care homes, and GP surgeries.
- Follow standards, operating policies, and health and safety procedures.
- Drive safely and legally.
- Keep vehicle maintained and clean, reporting any damage or issues.
- Feedback relevant customer comments and concerns and make suggestions on how the operation can be improved.
- Be a proud ambassador for Boots Healthcare Logistics.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 1 year’s driving experience.
- Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions.
- Enjoy following process and working at pace to achieve service levels and targets.
- Physical stamina and capability to work in a manually demanding role with heavy lifting.
- Comfortable using new technology.
- Calm in the face of unexpected changes or challenges.
- Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people.
- A genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care.
Nice to Have
- Basic numeracy skills
- Experience in a driving role
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
