Fehr Graham, a Trilon Group company, is seeking a Senior Roadway/Drainage Engineer to join its Northwest Florida practice. This role is responsible for applying engineering principles to plan and design roadway projects, making recommendations to complement organizational objectives.
What You'll Do
- Provide engineering analysis and design of stormwater management solutions for transportation projects.
- Oversee and manage design and production of construction details, plans, specifications, and estimates.
- Collaborate with clients, subconsultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budget.
- Direct and mentor less-experienced support staff.
- Conduct engineering investigations and planning work, including data collection and analysis, routine calculations, and evaluating solution feasibility.
- Support business development efforts, including proposal pursuits.
- Help build relationships with key staff of clients, potential clients, teaming partners, and contractors.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- Must have Professional Engineering Registration with the State.
- 10-15 plus years of relevant, progressive transportation design experience.
- Demonstrated drainage experience.
- Strong knowledge and application of DOT design standards and specifications.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
- Valid driver’s license with approved/acceptable driving history.

Work Mode
This is an onsite position supporting our Northwest Florida offices. Candidates should be based in or willing to work from Jacksonville, Pensacola, or Tallahassee, Florida.
