Purpose of Position To provide comprehensive administrative support to the regional finance and operations teams, ensuring meticulous maintenance of depot operational processes aligned with company guidelines. This role involves collaborative engagement with Regional Finance Team, Fleet team, P&T team, Payroll team, and Depot Quality Manager. Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility - Provide remote absence coverage for Depot Finance Administrators across the network - Manage and process weekly payroll for the network - Collaborate with Junior Data developer to resolve systemic issues - Become advanced user for Softworks and ODF portal - Facilitate timely and accurate supplier payments - Conduct audit stop merges and additional payment reviews - Serve as primary contact for audit queries - Support task automation initiatives Absence Cover Responsibilities - Ensuring timely and effective daily cost reporting for assigned depot(s) - Accurately recording purchase orders and invoice processing - Maintaining up-to-date absence management records - Providing cross-team coverage and training Additional Responsibilities - Onboard new drivers to training platforms - Administer self-employed process, including payment processing and financial reconciliation - Validate driver documentation and organize refresher training - Manage fuel stock and orders - Conduct operational quality audits - Upload compliance documentation - Perform miscellaneous duties as required Qualifications/Experience Requirements - Ability to undertake management-assigned tasks - Strong IT proficiency (Microsoft Office / G Suite) - Proven administrative experience, preferably in transport industry - Advanced analytical skills - Strong communication capabilities - Exceptional accuracy and self-motivation - Capability to self-manage workload and prioritize tasks Benefits - Holiday trading - Enhanced parental leave package - Free life assurance - Health initiatives - On-site parking - Retail discounts - Milestone celebration days - Complimentary eye tests DPD offers not just employment, but career development opportunities, emphasizing internal talent recognition and promotion.
