You will serve as the critical operational hub for fundraising and finance, ensuring every supporter receives white-glove service while building a centralized knowledge base to support our Growth team.
What You'll Do
- Own the complete gift-tracking process, coordinating with Finance, ensuring reporting deadlines are met, and maintaining an accurate, real-time donor pipeline.
- Create and manage a centralized, accessible resource for all Growth materials by proactively diving into data and product updates to record wins and capture impact numbers.
- Act as primary support for senior Growth team members, compiling context on funders and preparing materials for high-stakes donor meetings and events.
- Conduct ongoing, proactive research on new prospect funders and foundations to continuously expand our philanthropic opportunity set.
- Over time, and with mentorship, manage all aspects of donor stewardship, including direct relationship cultivation and pipeline movement.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for our mission to dramatically reduce incarceration in ways that are safe and equitable.
- You bring order to chaos by being thorough and systematic, and get energized by creating and maintaining systems like project trackers and CRM.
- Exceptional attention to detail and written communication skills, with the ability to juggle numerous goals and deadlines. You are a documentation wizard.
- You are scrappy, resourceful, and thrive in a startup environment. You can run with ambiguity, define a clear path, and deliver results.
- A great, cross-functional teammate who picks up dropped balls, rolls up your sleeves, identifies gaps, and advocates for long-term solutions.
Nice to Have
- Personal connection to the criminal justice system and/or passion for doing work that matters.
- Lived or working experience with the operations and consequences of America’s criminal justice system.
