Palo Alto Networks is hiring a Domain Consultant 2 for Cortex/Cloud to play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure customers' critical business objectives. In this role, you will act as the expert evangelist for industry-leading cloud security solutions and help establish Palo Alto Networks as the cybersecurity partner of choice.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within your assigned specialization area.
• Present to customers as our expert at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Act as the main technical point of contact for Cloud Security, assisting in responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations that showcase our unique value proposition.
• Scope and lead Proof of Value (PoV) projects for prospective customers and partners based on best practices to ensure technical win.
• Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates within your assigned specialization area.
• Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and highlight differentiation.
• Architect solutions that help customers strengthen and simplify their security posture.
• Accelerate technical validation of proposed solutions within your specialization.
• Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases to ensure proper implementation and value realization.
• Help customers build and develop their services around Prisma Cloud.
• Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape.
• Credibly discuss competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative.
• Position Palo Alto Networks or Partner delivered services as appropriate.
• Initiate projects to improve your team’s performance.
• Implement organizational policies and help others adopt them.
• Act as a conduit for customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitor intelligence, and R&D.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of technical sales or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience using IaC software tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, GCP Cloud Deployment Manager).
• Hands-on experience using CI/CD tools (IDEs, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Experience with Alicloud, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud configuration and administration of security features and services.
• Deep experience in one or more cloud security areas such as Shift Left, CSPM, CWP, KSPM, CIEM, DSPM, AI-SPM.
• Understanding of container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• A background in security domain or cloud security is highly preferred.

You will be part of the Domain Consultant team within the Systems Engineering department.

Benefits & Compensation

• Compensation: $198,000 - $273,000 per year plus equity. Restricted stock units may be included.
