About the Role

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is looking for a District Manager to lead the internal and external customer experience, driving sales results and all KPIs. As the linchpin of the field organization between strategy and execution, you will be responsible for ensuring brand standards and operational excellence across your assigned stores.

What You'll Do

  • Provide leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience which maximizes sales/KPIs and drives customer loyalty.
  • Understand the competitive landscape by observing and studying the competition to learn about current initiatives.
  • Ensure all brand standards are met such as merchandising, planograms, marketing, and back rooms.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment, training, motivation and discipline programs to drive results and build a talent pool of future leaders.
  • Assess Store Managers to determine talent opportunities and impact on store performance.
  • Ensure the store environment is safe at all times for associates and customers, and that all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Protect company assets by ensuring all procedures are being followed in store as they relate to shrink, damages, and banking.
  • Drive the execution of all company processes through training, management, analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Actively manage and leverage payroll and manage other controllable expenses such as supplies, and travel.
  • Ensure all processes to support digital strategies are utilized such as Omni-channel fulfillment.
  • Manage Real Estate as it relates to site feedback, re-locations, new stores, and store closings.

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in business, management and/or merchandising.
  • Specialty retail or trade knowledge, problem solving skills, and experience driving associate engagement.
  • Thorough knowledge in selection of top candidates, sourcing and education.
  • Thorough knowledge of inventory management strategies, merchandising techniques and systems.
  • Ability to plan, organize, lead and control.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and quantify market trends.
  • Understanding and communicating the competitive landscape to drive local segmentation.
  • Understanding of assigned store capabilities and growth potentials.
  • Ability to travel extensively and frequently including overnights and weekends.

Nice to Have

  • College Degree.
  • Multi-Unit or Big Box Retail Management experience.

Team & Environment

You will be part of the field organization, serving as the critical link between company strategy and store-level execution.

This is an onsite position.
