Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Dispatcher to ensure all routes are filled and provide timely instructions and responses to requests from drivers and customers throughout the day.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding deliveries, including no shows, cancellations, and scheduled deliveries.
- Use computer systems to retrieve schedule and asset information, and reference material to assign driver resources and routes for maximum efficiency and utilization.
- Update, prepare, and dispense the daily route schedule, monitoring and documenting route manifests and deliveries throughout the day.
- Make and schedule appointments with customers that require delivery appointments.
- Route drivers according to their skill set and available DOT mandated Hours of Service regulations.
- Complete a variety of daily reports and clerical duties.
- Ensure correct departments have all necessary paperwork for on time delivery departure.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma.
- 2 years’ experience with handling inbound/outbound call taking, scheduling and/or administrative work.
