Requirements Job Overview The Strategic Financial Planning, Analysis, and Analytics Director functions as a critical institutional leader responsible for incorporating data-driven insights into strategic financial and enrollment planning. This role spearheads the creation of predictive analytics, financial modeling, and planning frameworks that guide decision-making across academic and administrative units. The Director will orchestrate efforts to interconnect diverse data streams—encompassing enrollment, academic, and financial information—to develop comprehensive analytical tools that enhance institutional forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation strategies. Reporting to the Main Campus Provost Office Finance Senior Managing Director, the Director collaborates closely with finance, institutional research, data strategy, and enrollment management teams to design and implement models that improve financial sustainability, enrollment planning, and academic strategy. The position demands exceptional analytical expertise, strategic vision, and collaborative leadership to transform complex data into actionable insights for long-term planning and operational implementation. Work Interactions The Director will serve as a strategic financial leader responsible for enterprise-wide integration of offices and data for analysis and planning. The role will report to the Main Campus finance office while being deployed to lead and contribute primary analytical support for cross-functional projects supporting long-range strategic planning initiatives. Collaborations will primarily involve the Office of Decision and Assessment Support, data strategy, undergraduate and graduate enrollment management functions, and the University budget office. The position will closely collaborate with the future Senior Associate Vice President for Enrollment Planning and Financial Strategy by conducting data analyses to operationalize enrollment and financial aid strategies, particularly for graduate programs.
