About the Role

Vanta is hiring a Director, Sales Development (EMEA + NAMER East) to lead pipeline generation and new business acquisition for our Velocity (20-200 employees) and Upmarket East (2,000+ employees) segments. In this role, you will drive a significant portion of our quarterly new business from our teams in New York and EMEA.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, develop, and scale a team of 5 Front Line Managers and over 40 Sales Development Representatives.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Oversee ongoing hiring, mentoring, and development of SDR Managers and SDRs, including recruiting, hiring, and training.
  • Deliver against monthly and quarterly revenue and pipeline generation goals.
  • Drive sales performance across activity, pipelines, weekly forecasts, and closed deals to ensure quota attainment.
  • Report on team and individual results through pipeline management, forecasting, and strategic initiative reporting.
  • Define forward-looking strategies for the SDR approach, identifying opportunities for process, efficiency, and productivity improvement.
  • Partner with senior sales management, marketing, and other business partners to develop a successful go-to-market strategy.
  • Advance the skills and careers of managers and individual contributors.

What We're Looking For

  • Rigorous command of the key metrics of the business.
  • Reliable, consistent forecasting ability.
  • Mastery of the prospecting process in high velocity organizations with deal cycles under 6 months.
  • Mastery of coaching to value-based selling methodologies like Command of the Message.
  • A high bar for inspection, evolution, and execution in the business.
  • Succinct, concise, and compelling written and verbal communication.
  • Impeccable cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Understanding of how to leverage go-to-market resources including Enablement and Revenue Operations.
  • A strong eye for talent, both in hiring and in advancing careers.
  • Independent operator, capable of leading a team in a rapidly changing hyper-growth environment.

You will lead the Sales Development team for EMEA and NAMER East, consisting of 5 Front Line Managers and over 40 Sales Development Representatives.
